Market Capitalisation Graph
Find below a graph that I maintain which shows the share price against the laeft hand scale and the market cap against the right hand scale.
Data points are taken at the end of each month with the exception of April 25 which is as of today's date (18/4)
It will be updated at the end of this month and subsequent months.

Interesting RA.
Thoughts on the 'gap' from September 2024? The correlation was remarkable until that point.

Re: Market Capitalisation Graph
It's down to the increase in number of shares. As part of the deal to buy Hav/Telfer the number of shares has risen from ~4bn to ~13bn
That increased the market cap and also on this chart any change share price will now have a bigger effect on total market cap

Re: Market Capitalisation Graph
Hmmm…. Lassonde curve looks completed. Except:
If we now own 70% more of our key asset Havieron
and we now own 100% of the (former) Tier 1 asset Telfer, and we are producing 300-400koz equivalent PA at sub 1500 AISC
And we have improved Telfer’s overall efficiency (mining rates and metallurgical recoveries) by broadly 15-20%
and we have discovered the West dome underground,
and we are in control of our own destiny,
and we are debt free
and can fund Havieron out of cash flow
and we are re rated to ASX peers,
and the gold price is 76% higher than 4 years ago….
Then, when the market cap last hit £1.5bn - does that mean we should be 2x 3x 4 or 5 x higher than £1-1.5bn today?
It tough one!
I always argued the Lassonde curve doesn’t really apply to Greatland… i guess we’ll soon find out if I was right.

Hey Hydrogen.
Yep, you're quite right with all of those other aspects of GGP. The other points to be considered are that Lassonde always intended his curve to apply to a single project....of course, we used to have one, but now have a multiple which are mutually supportive. Also, the Lassonde curve described the "value" of an asset....but I have used GGP's Market Cap. I think we all know that the MCAP has not and still does not truly reflect the value of our assets.
IMO, this promises to be a Lassonde Curve on steroids.

Re: Market Capitalisation Graph
Also 38p and the associated £1.4bn mcap in 2020 was crazy and 14p now and the associated mcap certainly isn’t. But it’s still a v relevant chart to those who complain about the sp.
Re: Market Capitalisation Graph
Indeed Rational. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get.
