Bromus Project, Western Australia (gold/nickel)

The Bromus project is located in southern Western Australia, approximately 25km from Norseman. Several significant clusters of gold and nickel sulphide deposits lie in the region, such as those at Central Norseman, Kambalda and Widgiemooltha. The project covers approximately 112 square kilometres.

A review of detailed airborne geophysics has defined a 4.5km long nickel sulphide prospective ultramafic unit in the central parts of the Bromus project area with coherent elevated surface geochemistry to 2,690ppm Ni. Recent field work has confirmed flow textured ultramafic lithologies are present and no previous exploration activities for nickel sulphides are apparent despite proximity to other deposits.

This represents a sizable nickel sulphide target at surface which can be explored with common geochemical, electromagnetic and drilling techniques. A ground EM survey has been outlined which is scheduled to be carried out during Q4.

As we look to achieve a greater focus on core assets, we have taken significant steps in our internal review of licencing and exploration targets, which has been ongoing since early 2014. This review has resulted in the disposal of our Lackman Rock project and, following the cessation of the Farm-In arrangement, the Lisle Project, as well as a reduction in the licenced areas in the south of the Bromus project and at the Warrentinna project.

The data confirmed a very significant bedrock conductor in the north of the survey area. Modelling shows that the conductor is a sizeable target; it is well defined and covers 180m x 65m. Three other significant conductors have also been identified in the north and central parts of the project area, with a size of approximately 100m x 80m. Modelled depth to the top of the four targets is relatively shallow, between 130 and 175m below the surface.

Such large bodies of conductive material are typically signs of sulphide deposits. The tenor (or grade) of nickel in these deposits can only be determined by drilling. Greatland aims to drill these four targets during Q3 2015 and will immediately seek approvals for drilling from the relevant Government authorities.

Bromus Project, Western Australia

The Bromus project is located in southern Western Australia, approximately 25km south west of the town of Norseman. At Bromus, Greatland has identified several significant bedrock conductors at relatively shallow depth between 130 and 175m below surface. These bedrock conductors may hold economic accumulations of nickel sulphides.

Greatland will relinquish large parts of the project area, but will retain its focus on the areas with undrilled bedrock conductors.

Drilling of the bedrock conductors was scheduled for Q3 2015, but it is unlikely that this will be achieved because all approvals are not yet in place. We expect to receive all approvals shortly, so that drilling can commence during Q4 2015.

Highlights

· Drilling at the Bromus project is advancing rapidly with two drill rigs on site, notably an RC drill rig and a diamond drill rig;
· Three of the four planned RC pre-collars have already been completed and diamond drilling has commenced on the northern most target;
· Ultramafic rock and traces of sulphide mineralisation have been intersected in all three RC pre-collars;
· The exact nature of the bedrock conductors identified by last year's EM survey and their potential nickel content will not be known until diamond drilling is completed and assays have been received.

· Greatland Gold is pleased to report that 3.5m of massive sulphide mineralisation has been intersected from 185m downhole in the third diamond hole at Bromus;

· Stringer and disseminated sulphide mineralization has also been intersected in the first two diamond holes;

· Laboratory analysis is underway to test the drill cores for nickel and other elements;

· Downhole EM will commence shortly to determine the size and orientation of buried mineralisation for follow up drilling should assay results suggest that further drilling is warranted;

· Drilling is continuing at the fourth and final hole and is expected to be completed this week.

Highlights

· Drilling at the 100% owned Bromus Project in Western Australia has detected anomalous levels of silver, zinc, cadmium and sulphur (including 3m at 1.3g/t Ag and 0.5% Zn in BRD004) that are indicative of a polymetallic VMS-type system;

· In addition, several broad, low level, nickel intercepts were encountered in BRD002 including 48m at 0.14%, 22m at 0.14% and 27m at 0.14%;

· A VMS-type system represents a relatively new discovery for the region and Greatland believes that the results merit further investigation;

· Greatland will be conducting downhole EM over the next few weeks to determine the location, size and orientation of buried conductive bodies.

· Downhole electromagnetics ("DHEM") recently completed at the Bromus project have identified several highly conductive targets not intersected in the recent drilling campaign conducted at Bromus;

· Two of the new targets (located near drill holes BRD001 and BRD003) have conductances which are consistent with sulphide mineralisation and are well constrained by the modelling and, therefore, are considered to be high priority targets; and

· Greatland expects to launch a new drilling campaign at Bromus in early 2017, using existing drill pads, that will target these two high priority targets.

Summary of Drilling Campaign

· Results from two drill holes testing downhole EM targets returned elevated levels of zinc, silver, cadmium and sulphur consistent with VMS style mineralisation; and low levels of nickel sulphide;

· These results extend the VMS style mineralisation over approximately 1.5km of strike which is likely to extend further based on a preliminary review of data;

· Bromus to now focus on:

o further delineation of this VMS style systems and;

o a review of further targets including gold mineralisation that was recorded in historic drilling approximately 1.2 kilometres to the north of the latest drilling campaign.

· One additional target identified by the downhole EM survey conducted last year remains to be tested.

The Bromus project is located 25 kilometres South-West of Norseman in the southern Yilgarn region of Western Australia. The Bromus project consists of two licences, covering 87 square kilometres of under-explored greenstone and intrusive granites of the Archean Yilgarn Block at the southern end of the Kalgoorlie-Norseman belt.

During the period, Greatland identified an RC drill target based on soil sampling which returned anomalous Cu, Zn and Ag coincident with an airborne EM anomaly. A surface sampling program is also recommended to follow up anomalous gold in soils in the north of the Bromus tenement. Greatland also advanced land access negotiations.”

An internal review of licencing and exploration targets has been ongoing since early 2014 with the aim of achieving a greater focus on core assets. This has resulted in the disposal of Lackman Rock project licences as well as a reduction of the licenced area in the south of the Bromus project, where the ground has been considered of lower priority. Furthermore, the Warrentinna project area has been reduced from 113 square kilometres to 37 square kilometres, with the locations having the highest potential for an economic deposit (including Derby North) being retained.
