I was searching on the site to see if there was an RNS section. I haven't found one so perhaps we should discuss this morning's content here?

Note also the update on the Juri JV (Black Hills and Paterson Range East Tenements) projects further down the release :!:

Juri JV (Black Hills and Paterson Range East Tenements)
"RC drilling has commenced on the Juri JV project at the A27 Black Hills North target, identified from previous gravity, magnetics and IP data modelling, and further delineated by 2021 ground EM surveying (RNS dated 31 May 2022). A diamond drill rig is planned to arrive in the next few weeks to continue the program at the Paterson Range East tenement targets Tama and A9.

In addition to drill testing the ground EM targets, geophysical modelling and data processing of the ground and aerial EM, gravity and magnetic datasets is continually underway, looking to identify further drill targets. Surface soil sampling across existing tracks over the JV tenement areas was recently completed, to test effectiveness of it as abroad screening method over potentially mineralised bedrock, as found at BHD003 (2021 program, RNS dated 23 Dec 2021). Analysis of the results is underway."

Back in early May, Bamps posted about the use of ultra fine fraction testing to assist with under cover exploration when discussing Swan, so a couple of useful links to read up on the technique here:

Keen to see what Ruddal holds, it’s down line from HAV and may contain secrets about the NW trend.

Shaun Day, Managing Director of Greatland Gold plc, commented: "We are excited to accelerate Greatland's exploration programme and commence on the ground activities at our 100% owned projects in the Paterson province of Western Australia, regarded as one of the world's most prospective frontiers for the discovery of multi-cycle, tier-one gold-copper deposits.

"The 2022 campaign at Scallywag follows encouraging exploration results reported last year, where four of seven holes intercepted gold mineralisation. The maiden drill programme at our newly acquired Pascalle and Rudall tenements is equally significant with Rudall considered to be prospective for Havieron and Telfer style gold-copper occurrences, while Pascalle sits directly between the two world class discoveries of Havieron and Telfer.

"We look forward to unlocking value by systematically progressing exploration through these Havieron and Telfer like priority targets to take advantage of our strong position in this prospective region."

So I'm counting 8 holes planned at Scallywag - 4 from the pads that we've already identified around the Swan and Pearl targets and 4 more at Swan East to target the other conductors that have been identified there.

That's a decent amount of holes in a relatively compact area - suggests to me that they have a reasonable level of confidence in their targeting around that area.

Any hit on this 100% owned ground would truly be a game changer - God's speed lads.

Swan

Exploration drill hole SWD001, drilled in 2021 returned geochemically significant Au assays (reported in RNS dated 5 April 2022). Drilling did not adequately explain the source of the airborne electromagnetic anomaly. Ground EM surveying completed in 2021 helped to define constrained conductor targets in the Swan area. Drill testing of these ground EM conductor plates to the east and west of Swan will commence this season with two holes planned.

Pearl

Similar ground EM conductor plates were identified in the 2021 survey at Pearl (A32), reported in RNS dated 5 April. Additional ground EM is currently underway to further refine the target conductors, and drilling is scheduled to commence shortly. At least two Reverse Circulation ("RC") and Diamond Drill ("DD") holes are planned and will be drilled in the coming weeks.

Swan East

Conductors were also identified at A34 and A35, further to the east of Swan, in similar geological settings. A short ground EM follow up survey has just been completed at A35 and the results are being integrated into the modelling to refine drill targets. Up to 4 RC/DD holes are planned on these targets.

In addition to drill testing the ground EM targets, geophysical modelling and data processing of the ground and aerial EM, gravity and magnetic datasets is continually underway, looking to identify further drill targets. Surface soil sampling across existing tracks over the Ground EM target areas was recently completed, to test effectiveness of it as abroad screening method over potentially mineralised bedrock, as found at SWD001. Analysis of the results is underway.

Callum was keen on Rudall.
Looks as though it’s close to a fault line

They must have confidence in these times as we only have owned this since last September, we do seem to have our foot down on the exploration.

This is real progress and lets hope the confidence is rewarded with very positive results, given pass history , why not.

hopefully we will have positive assays before the end of the year and 2023 with all the other work on gong will see a total reversal of sentiment and the share price.

That Rudall is a big old magnetic bulls eye... You can see the immediate likeness to Havieron. Definitely looks like a point intrusion of some sort and right on trend with Havieron and Antipa's Minyari deposit.

Can't wait for GGP drilling results to garner excitement independently of Havieron drill results, results day used to see a lot of speculative investment and we have lots of drilling going on so I'm hoping to see a return to those days.

Fun.

Rudall is about 2000m x 1500m so nearly twice the size of Havieron and very close to a fault line.

Pascalle is about 1000 x 1500m cover not deep sat close to a structural fault line

From Ggp website:-

The Pascalle tenement remains underexplored as bedrock sits beneath 20-50m of cover limiting the application of traditional exploration methods. The area has a number of key geological similarities with other major discoveries in the region including a heat source (O’Callaghan’s Granite) to generate circulation of metal rich fluids, hydrothermal pathways along basement faults and both structural and stratigraphic traps to concentrate mineral deposition.

With drilling recommencing at Scallywag - think it would be a good time to revisit this video from MagicTrades and new GGP investors would do well to subscribe to his channel and watch all of the videos.

This video presents the major characteristics of Intrusion Related Gold Deposits and how they relate to what is observed at Havieron and Scallywag:

I’m expecting Rudall to be diamond drill with an RC drill to start it off and a collar inserted. The cover is not too deep here and the top of the target is likely to be shallow, but the magnetics look deep, so I am expecting a deep drill 700-800m perhaps or possibly 1,000m.
The Aussie government grant is paying for some of this.

Pascalle is not deep so they may be out to find the structural fault to see if it’s mineralised, so I’m expecting RC drilling here.

Relative sizes of GGP's exploration in the Paterson (as taken from Slide 16 of the May investor presentation:

Havieron - 30% | JV with Newcrest 38 sq km
Juri - 49% | JV with Newcrest 249 sq km First phase drilling programme completed
Scallywag - 100% 99 sq km Targets refined from recent drill programmes
Rudall - 100% 65 sq km Targets for next drilling program
Canning - 100% 114 sq km Licence application
Pascalle, Taunton, Paterson South - 100% 1,015 sq km Acquire tenements, licence applications

Havieron is the smallest of the Paterson licences but of course holds the biggest punch - so far anyway! So, good news today to get the 2022 exploration programme underway.

Pascalle was mentioned - I was just looking at geographically where this was and it's one that sits (more or less) between Telfer & Havieron -

Nice way to put it...

Greatland looks to repeat Havieron success at Scallywag

AIM-listed Greatland Gold has started its 2022 drill programme at its Scallywag licence within its Paterson projects in Western Australia.

The drilling will initially focus on the Pearl, Swan and Swan East gold-copper targets. The drilling will test targets identified by electromagnetic survey results.
